Privacy matters to you. Most sites are compact and open to neighbors, staff interactions get mixed reviews, bikes are now blocked from direct trail access, and there's no dump station for RVs. The no-pets rule is a hard stop for anyone traveling with a dog.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Summer brings the warmest conditions and fullest amenities. Daytime highs reach the upper 60s to mid-80s°F, with cool nights in the 50s-60s°F that make sleeping comfortable. July and August draw the biggest crowds but also offer the best swimming temperatures in Duck Pond and easiest wildlife viewing along the coast. The campground operates seasonally and occasionally closes on Sundays due to staffing.
Summer is warm with full amenities and beach access; popular and can be crowded.
