The great Outer Beach described by Thoreau in the 1800s is protected within the national seashore. Forty miles of pristine sandy beach, marshes, ponds, and uplands support diverse species. Lighthouses, cultural landscapes, and wild cranberry bogs offer a glimpse of Cape Cod's past and continuing ways of life. Swimming beaches and walking and biking trails beckon today's visitors.

The Beach View House is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom property situated on a bluff overlooking Coast Guard Beach in Cape Cod National Seashore. The home features a wrap-around deck with panoramic views of the old Coast Guard station, the ocean, and Nauset Bay. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the property includes a propane BBQ grill, pillows, blankets, and fans. Bedsheets and towels are not provided.
