The campground operates from mid-May through late September. Summer temperatures run from mid-60s to mid-80s during the day, dropping into the 40s and 50s at night. This is when the Selway runs clear and stable, best for fishing and exploring the creek confluence. Expect more visitors on summer weekends. With only six sites, it fills quickly. Spring and fall shoulder seasons bring cooler temperatures and fewer people, but some facilities may close early.
