<p>Eight sites are located along the Middle Fork of the Salmon River away from the busy Boundary Creek launch area. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The campground amenities include a vault toilet and drinking water. There are no garbage services available. The water falls are magnificent and the fishing terrific.</p>

Best season: summer. Summer offers the best combination of reliable access, mild mountain weather, and peak river and trail activity — ideal for rafting the Middle Fork, day hikes from the campground, and strong trout fishing. Expect daytime highs typically in the mid‑60s to high‑70s°F (around 65–80°F) with cool nights dipping into the mid‑30s to low‑50s°F, making evenings pleasant for campfires where allowed. Mid‑June through mid‑August is the busiest window (sites are reservable), so you’ll see more river trip and Peak months: July, June, August, September Avoid: December, January, February
