Dry-rotted picnic tables, unlevel wooded sites, no potable water on-site, and a steep uphill walk to the vault toilet make this rough for anyone expecting maintained facilities or easy mobility access.

Summer is the prime season here. May through September brings daytime highs of 70-85°F and nighttime lows of 40-50°F, with dry conditions and full campground access. Long daylight hours make backcountry loops and day trips practical. The season ends September 30 when snow begins limiting access. Winter brings deep snow that makes vehicle access challenging, transforming the area into a true backcountry destination for winter sports enthusiasts willing to deal with the conditions.
Prime season (May–Sept), 70–85°F, long daylight; visitors favor summer visits.
Glover Campground features picnic areas and toilets. It does not have potable water or a dump station on-site, but water and a dump station can be accessed at the Fenn Ranger Station located 4.6 miles after leaving the highway, as noted by Ross Anderson in his review. The campground has several campsites, some of which are wooded but lack level ground, as per Kevin Brannon’s feedback. Some sites have picnic tables or fire rings, but not all sites have both. The stock ramp is also an available amenity. Access to restrooms is provided, although they are pit toilets, and one review mentioned they were clean and tended to by USFS personnel. The toilet facility is located far from the campsites and accessible by a steep uphill walk.
