<p>Located approximately 10 miles west of Quincy, off of Forest Service Rd 24N29, it is one of the few campgrounds on the Mt. Hough Ranger District that allows OHV trail access directly from the campground.</p><p>Meadow Camp Campground has streamside campsites with terrific views of both Spanish Peak and Meadow Valley. It has both RV and tent camping and boasts 6 sites for equestrian use. Visit in fall for the best combination of comfortable weather, dry trails, and vivid oak color along the meadow edges — daytime highs typically in the 55–75°F range with crisp nights around 30–45°F. Trail conditions are at their driest, making horseback rides and OHV runs more enjoyable and less muddy, and insect activity drops so evenings around the fire are pleasant. Crowds are generally lighter than summer, though early fall (Sept–Oct) still sees steady equestrian and OHV use; be aware that a Peak months: October, September, November Avoid: December, January, February

Six improved dispersed campsites with a picnic table, fire pit, and a vault toilet. Sites 1-3 are intended for equestrian use and provide space for horse trailers but there is no corral or water trough. Visitors must bring their own water and pack out trash because there are no trash services on site.
