Skip if

Trailers and low-clearance vehicles will have a miserable time on the access road. Also bring exact cash or a checkbook; the host doesn't take cards and may not have change.

About the campground

The elevation is 5,200 ft. The campground is composed of two sections - Upper and Lower. The Lower section is a single loop with some camping sites adjacent to the South Fork of the Ogden River - wheelchair friendly toilets and well separated camping sites. Although none of the sites in this section have grilles, each has a raised fire ring and a pedestal stand for a cook stove. The fire ring and table are anchored to a cement pad at the end of the parking aprons. The Upper section is much smaller with more rustic camping sites and a wilderness feel. A nice day trip is the nearby Causey Reservoir, reported to be excellent for canoeing. Gas and limited groceries are available near Huntsville, UT on State Rt. 39. Firewood is available for a fee.
