Go if

Fall weekenders who want a quiet lakeshore site with lighthouse views and can handle packing in all their gear. One reviewer got privacy, no nighttime disruption, and a direct sightline to the lighthouse. September and October are the clear sweet spot.

Skip if

Reservation process trips people up before they even arrive, one reviewer couldn't locate a working online sign-up. Pets aren't allowed, and confirmed amenities (water, toilets, fire rings) are unverified for this specific campground, so pack as if nothing is provided.
