Summer offers the clearest access and the fullest range of activities — once snow melts (often by early July) you get warm daytime hiking (highs around 60–75°F) and cool nights (30s–40s F) ideal for wood-stove evenings. Big Trinity Cabin is a rustic seasonally-accessible cabin with basic onsite features: a wood stove for heating/cooking, a picnic table, a campfire ring with grill, and a nearby hand pump for drinking water. The cabin is stocked with seasoned firewood and basic tools; there is no electricity or propane, and guests must pack out trash and bring bedding, lighting and emergency supplies.
