Summer brings daytime highs of 65–80°F and nights that drop to the mid-30s to 50°F, making it the most reliable season for access and comfortable conditions. Mid-May through October is the typical operating window. Wildflowers peak in early to mid-summer, and fishing flows run strongest during this period. July and August weekends see the most use, though the four-unit capacity keeps crowds limited. Winter snowfall closes the campground and buries the area under deep snow.
Mid-May–Oct open season; summer temps 65–80°F and comfortable nights favor visits.
