Driving directionsTravel west on Highway 43 from Wisdom, Montana for approximately 20 miles. Turn north on the Trail Creek Road #106, travel for approximately 6 miles to the cabin. Access 1: Start at the Chief Joseph Pass cross-country ski parking area, travel north on Broadway Trail for 1 mile until intersection with FS road #1260 (total distance: 6 miles). Access 2: Shoofly Trail #3117 is the shortest but most difficult route, steep segments present. Access 3: Shoofly Alternate is gentler and rejoins Shoofly at the top of the hill; marked with blue diamonds. Access 4: Trail Creek Road #106 is the main snowmobile route, marked with orange diamonds, and is 6 miles long.
Road access varies seasonally; paved roads lead to Trail Creek Road #106, which is unpaved and rough. Snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe access required in winter due to snow closures.
