It is located on Forest Road 5N01. Turn right off of Highway 108 at Eagle Meadow Road (5N01), about 15 miles from the Summit Ranger Station and follow Eagle Meadow Road approximately 3 miles to the campground. There are 10 sites; each site has a table and a fire ring. The main road and parking pads are dirt-surfaced. Potable water is not available. Toilets are vault-style. The elevation is 7,000 ft. This dusty, pack it in, pack it out campground, mostly open, is a good base camp for OHV enthusiasts. "Green Sticker" requirement is enforced. The seasonal Niagara Creek runs along side campground. The vegetation is willow shrubs, Lodgepole and Jeffery pines, and Aspen. The campground is also known as Niagara ORV. The parking aprons are rock and sand. With the exception of one long and wide apron, all aprons are about the same size.
From Mi-Wuk, CA, take State Route 108 east 28.8 miles to campground sign. Turn right onto Forest Route 5N01 and go 0.3 miles to an intersection. Turn right, staying on Rt. 5N01, and go 2.5 miles to campground on left.

Best season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable access and comfortable weather for OHV use, hiking, and dispersed camping — expect warm, dry days and cool nights (daytime highs typically 65–85°F, nights 35–50°F). Trails and the 3-mile approach on Eagle Meadow Road are usually clear and easy to navigate by truck or trailer, and the mixed-conifer canopy provides welcome shade. Weekends can be moderately busy, so plan weekday visits for more solitude; be aware of late-summer fire restrictions and check forest fire Peak months: July, August, September, October Avoid: December, January, February, March
