No potable water and no trash service is a real logistics burden for multi-night stays. If hauling in all your water and packing out every bag sounds like a dealbreaker, this setup will frustrate you.

The Black Springs OHV Campground offers a mix of basic amenities with a focus on accommodating off-highway vehicle users. The campground features eight campsites, each equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and a bear box for food storage to ensure safety in a bear-active area. There are no restrooms or potable water facilities on-site, so visitors must come prepared with their own water supply and sanitation plans. The campground’s close proximity to the Black Springs OHV staging area makes it ideal for off-road enthusiasts, though the staging area itself is designated for day-use only.
