Weather and SeasonsBest season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable warm weather and the fullest range of river activities — expect daytime highs in the mid-60s to mid-80s°F and cool nights in the 40s–50s°F. Warm water and stable flows make wade fishing for rainbow trout, small-boat floats (float tubes, kayaks), and wildlife viewing at the riparian corridor at their peak. Weekdays are quiet due to only six sites, but holiday weekends fill fast, so reservations or early arrival are recommended.
