Canoe or kayak campers get the most out of this place. The no-wake lake, natural boat launch, and deer-at-the-shoreline wildlife sightings are the draws. Trailers up to 16 feet fit; anything longer won't make the loop.

No cell service and supplies 35+ miles away in either Ennis or West Yellowstone mean any forgotten gear stays forgotten. If you're in a trailer over 16 feet, the tight turnaround will beat you before you unpack.
