Summer offers the warmest, driest weather and full access to paddling, swimming and hiking — expect daytime highs in the mid-60s to mid-70s°F (18–25°C) with cool nights in the 40s–50s°F (5–12°C). Water is at a comfortable temperature for swimming and canoeing, fishing for walleye, northern pike and bass is at its peak, and loons and other wildlife are highly active.
