Best season: fall. Fall offers the clearest benefit: peak hardwood color and crisp, mosquito-free days that showcase Beaver Lake's shoreline and the surrounding maples and birch. Expect daytime highs in the 45–60°F range in September–early October with nights often dipping into the 25–40°F range — perfect for brisk hikes, paddling on calm glassy water, and wildlife viewing as deer and grouse become more active. Crowds are generally low because the campground is very small (fewer than a dozen sites), so early-fall訪 Peak months: October, September, June, May Avoid: November, December, January, February
Fall noted as best: hardwood color, cooler temps, mosquitoes disappear and great views.
