Trailers over 30 feet will struggle on narrow, hilly park roads, reviewers flag it repeatedly. No pets allowed, no dump station, and no potable water hookups mean this setup doesn't work for everyone rolling in with a full rig.

The campground welcomes visitors throughout the warmer months, with summer being the most popular season despite—or perhaps because of—its authentic Minnesota wilderness experience. Fair warning: the same lush forest and lakeside location that make this place so beautiful also create ideal conditions for mosquitoes, black flies, and gnats during warm weather. Pack your bug spray and head nets, and you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable northwoods adventure.
Summer is best: warmest, most reliable weather for lake activities and park programs.
