No hookups, no showers, and a hand pump that occasionally goes dry make this a poor fit for anyone expecting developed amenities. Highway noise carries into camp, and the 10 sites offer minimal privacy from neighbors.

Summer is the clear winner here. Daytime highs run mid-60s to mid-80s, nights drop into the 40s and 60s, and the lake warms enough for swimming. Bass and panfish are most active, and long daylight hours mean you can fish early or late without freezing. Summer weekends do bring moderate crowds to the 10 sites, so arrive early Friday or aim for a weekday. Expect some highway noise from nearby roads. It's noticeable but not constant.
Seasonal info: 'Summer is the clear winner'; lake warms and fishing is active.
