Go if

Paddlers and panfishers who can show up early on a Friday. The sandy beach and hand-carry boat launch put you on the water in minutes, and lakeside sites have the kind of unobstructed shoreline access you'd pay three times as much for elsewhere.

Skip if

Only three sites with no reservations means you might drive out and find it full. Add no showers, no electric, and heavy bug pressure all summer, and anyone expecting even basic modern amenities will be disappointed before dark.
