Lola Creek Campground, Challis National Forest, Idaho
Tent campers and small-rig travelers who want a quiet base for the 12-mile Marsh Creek Trail or catch-and-release rainbow trout fishing. Grab a site on the right side of the campground for proximity to the creek. Cash or check only at arrival.
Large trailers and fifth-wheels will struggle on the narrow access road, and the small sites won't fit them anyway. No hookups, no showers, no cell signal, and dense tree cover kills solar panels and Starlink. Remote workers or comfort campers should look elsewhere in the Stanley

Snowmelt stabilizes trails by late June, opening up wildflower displays and fishing. Late spring and early fall can deliver surprise snow. The campground operates from late spring through early fall, but weather at 6,400 feet shifts fast. Pack warm layers regardless of the forecast.
Open June 15–Sept 15; summer temps ideal for hiking (mid-60s to upper-70s) and wilderness access.
