No potable water on site means hauling your own from Cascade, 33 miles away. Anyone unwilling to pack in all water, or needing hookups, flush toilets, or cell service, will find this too remote.

Summer (June through September) brings the clearest access and fullest experience. Expect warm, sunny days of 60–75°F and cool nights of 30–45°F. Wildflower displays and active trout fishing on Warm Lake peak in July and August. Early June and late September can see morning temperatures dip below freezing. Snow occasionally dusts the pines during unexpected cold snaps, a reminder you're in Idaho's high country.
Open June–mid‑Sept; wildflowers, peak fishing, hiking and swimming occur in summer.
Potable water is not available at this site.
