About Burgdorf

Burgdorf is a very small, budget-friendly campground in Payette National Forest near McCall, Idaho, set in mid-elevation forest with access to subalpine meadows and wildflowers. Operated seasonally during peak months, it offers just a handful of primitive tent and RV sites with vault toilets, potable water, fire rings, and picnic tables. The limited number of sites ensures solitude, and summer brings mild days, crisp nights, and dry trails ideal for day hikes.

The campground offers three basic campsites designed for tent and small RV camping. All sites are non-electric and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
