Go if

Birders, paddlers, and hikers who want serious coastal wilderness on Florida's 30A corridor. Over 10 miles of trail, canoe launch access to dune lakes found in only a handful of places worldwide, and a tram to the beach mean you can stay busy all day without leaving the park.

Skip if

Overgrown vegetation and encroaching brush have been flagged at several sites, so campers sensitive to a rough-around-the-edges feel may be disappointed. Also: no on-site store, spotty cell service, and limited dog amenities make this a poor fit if you're packing light on supplie
