Tent campers are out entirely, Loop 103 is RV-only. And if you're booking last-minute, don't bother; this place fills far in advance, and some pads need leveling blocks, so pull site photos before you commit.

Topsail Hill welcomes campers year-round, though you'll find the campground busiest during the mild winter and spring months when snowbirds flock south, and again during summer's prime beach season. If you're planning a late summer or early fall visit, you'll enjoy fewer crowds and still-warm Gulf waters—just keep an eye on tropical weather forecasts during hurricane season to ensure smooth sailing for your coastal adventure.
Summer is prime beach season; full amenities and beach access make it excellent albeit busy.
