Go if

RV campers who brought bikes and want beach access without beach-town crowds. The tram runs every 30-60 minutes to a largely private white-sand shore, and the paved trail network keeps you out of a car entirely.

Skip if

Tent campers are out entirely, Loop 103 is RV-only. And if you're booking last-minute, don't bother; this place fills far in advance, and some pads need leveling blocks, so pull site photos before you commit.
