Best season: summer. Summer offers warm, reliably dry weather (daytime highs commonly 80–95°F, nights 45–60°F) and full access to lake-based recreation, making it the best time to boat, fish, and paddle Lewiston Lake. Clear skies and long daylight hours showcase the mountains and make early-morning wildlife viewing and evening star‑gazing excellent. Expect moderate to busy crowds (reservations accepted May 21–Sep 10), so book early for weekends and holiday periods. Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: December, January, February
Summer is peak season with best access and warm days; lake remains cold.
