Best season: summer. Summer offers warm, reliably dry weather and full access to Lewiston Lake, making it the best time for boating, swimming, kayak paddles and peak fishing (daytime highs commonly 75–95°F, nights 55–65°F). Water recreation is at its peak and the five-site campground feels secluded even on busier summer weekends, though expect more boat traffic on holiday days. Note that reservations become available June 25 and fire restrictions or heat advisories can appear during hot spells, so check conditions/ Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: October, November, December, January
