Cabin Loop sits on the Colorado River shoreline at Lake Havasu State Park with 13 furnished cabins that sleep five (one queen bed, two bunks). Rates run $139–$149 per night with weekend minimums. Each cabin has AC, heat, electricity, and an outdoor patio with BBQ grill, picnic table, and fire ring. No in-cabin bathrooms or kitchens. Shared shower facilities are a short walk away.
Cabin loop offers rentable cabins (two- to three-room) with adjacent RV sites available for reservation. Tent camping is not permitted in the cabin loop.
Weather and SeasonsFall is the sweet spot. October brings daytime highs in the 70s–80s°F, November in the 60s–70s°F, with nights in the 50s–60s. The water stays warm enough for boating and the post-Labor Day crowd thins out, so boat ramps and parking get easier. Cabin AC and heat handle the swings. February also works if you want cooler weather without summer's intensity. Algae blooms have been reported during some visits, though timing varies.
Natural Features and SceneryThe cabins face Lake Havasu's blue water with mountains rising across the lake on the California side. A sandy beach runs along the shore, though the bottom is rocky enough that water shoes help. Some cabins have tall grass between the patio and water that blocks direct views and access. Cabin 12 sits right on the water without vegetation in the way. At night the lake sounds like ocean waves against the rocks.
