Cabin Campground sits directly on Lake Havasu's shoreline at 466 feet elevation, offering 13 air-conditioned cabins steps from the water. Rates run $139–$149 per night with two- or three-night minimums on weekends and holidays. Each cabin includes beds, heating and cooling, a porch, picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ grill, but no kitchen appliances or linens.
Cabin lodging area with adjacent RV sites available for reservation; tent camping is not permitted in the cabin loop.
Weather and SeasonsSpring brings the sweet spot: daytime highs climb from the mid-60s in March to the mid-90s by May, with cooler nights and productive dawn-and-dusk fishing. Water temperatures rise enough for early-season swimming and paddleboarding, and boat traffic ramps up in April and May, especially on weekends. Summer heat can hit 125°F, making the cabins' air-conditioning essential. Year-round visits are possible thanks to heating and cooling, but weekdays outside holiday periods offer quieter stays.
Natural Features and SceneryThe Colorado River forms Lake Havasu here, lapping right up to the cabin loop. Desert mountains frame views across the water. Sandy beach access sits a short walk away, and nearly two miles of shoreline stretch within the park. Sunsets paint the lake pink and purple from cabin porches. Gnat-like bugs swarm outdoor lights after dark.
