Best season: fall. Fall offers the most comfortable combination of mild daytime temperatures (typically 65–85°F in October–November), calm water for boating, and excellent hiking conditions without the intense summer heat. Lake Mead's colors feel richer against the desert cliffs as the light softens, and fishing and boating are at peak enjoyment with fewer heat-related restrictions. Crowd levels are moderate — busier on weekend days near Boulder Beach but far less hectic than peak spring holiday weekends or Las Ve Peak months: October, November, March, April Avoid: July, August
