No cell signal at all, and showers shut down October through May, so tent campers or anyone relying on connectivity or warm facilities in the off-season will find it limited.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Fall offers the best combination of mild weather and dependable reservoir levels. Daytime highs sit in the mid-60s to mid-80s °F with cool nights in the 40s–50s °F. The reservoir is usually fuller after summer releases, making boating and fishing easier. The campground feels noticeably less oppressive than summer, so swimming, shore fishing, and long paddles are pleasant. Expect moderate weekend crowds, busier on holiday weekends, but generally quieter weekdays. Spring also works well for water activities. Summer heats up but makes swimming more appealing. The campground stays open year-round, though water levels fluctuate seasonally and affect what you can do on the reservoir.
Peak season with warm weather, perfect for water activities. Book early.
