Ken Wilcox Campground at Haney Meadows is a remote, high elevation campground and horse camp offering 19 trailer/tent sites. It provides stock water only, with no potable water available. The area was burned by the Table Mountain Fire in September 2012, leaving many downed trees and obstacles. The campground operates from early June to late October. It is available on a first-come, first-served basis only, requiring visitors to physically arrive to purchase and claim a site. Fees are $10 per night for a single site and $5 per additional vehicle per night, payable by scanning and paying with a mobile phone. Restrooms are available, and horse/pack animals are allowed. The elevation is 5,600 feet, located at latitude 47.3115, longitude -120.5336.

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature.

<p>From summit of Blewett Pass on Highway 97, travel south about 4 miles on Forest Road 9716 to the junction with Road 9712. Turn left 9712 and continue about 4 miles to the campground.</p>

Summer offers the best combination of warm, accessible weather and open forest roads — daytime highs are typically in the mid-60s to mid-80s°F (18–30°C) with cool nights in the 40s–50s°F (5–12°C), making hiking, campfires (when allowed), and day trips from Blewett Pass comfortable. Trails, wildflower displays, and wildlife viewing are at their peak and roads to the campground are usually fully passable, but expect moderate crowds on holiday weekends and arrive early to claim one of the first--c Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: December, January, February
