Only 12-by-32-foot parking spurs for RVs, cash or check payments only, no trash service, and potable water shuts off after Labor Day. Big rigs and anyone expecting hookups or card payments will find this too bare-bones.

Summer brings the most reliable conditions and easiest access. Daytime highs typically reach the mid-60s to upper-70s°F with cool nights in the 40s–50s°F, making riverside camping comfortable without being too hot. Fishing and wildlife viewing peak during these months. Snow blankets the area in winter, making the campground inaccessible. Spring runoff swells the Boulder River as snowmelt rushes down from higher elevations.
Summer has most reliable conditions; campground fills fast on summer weekends.
