Driving directionsFrom Big Timber, MT, take State Rt. 298 south 25 miles to the end of pavement. Continue south on gravel road for 20.7 miles to campground. NOTE: Gravel portion of State Rt. 298 is one lane in places and rough. Scenic travel all the way.
Access road is narrow and rough with gravel portions being one lane. Not suitable for vehicles longer than 32 feet. Travel with a trailer is not recommended south of Hells Canyon.
