About the campground

The elevation is 6,400 ft. The campground is comprised of two loops (A and B). Due to extensive hazard tree removal, there is little shade or middlestory. However, the views of the lake and surrounding mountains are super The grassland understory and lack of middlestory provide little privacy between campsites. Some sites are adjacent to or overlook Georgetown Lake. Parking aprons in Loop A are shorter than those in Loop B. Boats can be parked along shoreline at or near campsites. Some campsites are terraced with tables and grilles above the sites. The understory is grassy. All campsite are open and sunny; bring your own shade. Near boxes are provided.
