<p>This is a large campground with 31 reservable sites at Georgetown Lake, ADA-accessible toilets, water, a boat launch and fishing access across the road at Red Bridge and garbage services. We recommend trailer lengths do not exceed 32 feet.</p>
The elevation is 6,400 ft. The campground is one large, bi-sected loop across State Rt. 1 from Georgetown Lake. The loop section to the right of campground's entrance has somewhat smaller parking aprons and is more tent-friencly while the left side is RV-friendly but many of the parking aprons have been dugged out of the hillside. This provide for reasonably level parking aprons but the rest of the campsite is elevated. Hazard true removal areound the campground's perimeter opened many campsites and reduced shade provided to these campsite. There are two loops - one for tents and the other for RVs. Situated in rustic setting among tall pines, most campsites have a limited view of Georgetown Lake. This is bear country, a bear box is available. Practise safe food storage technique. Parking aprons are gravel and dirt.
In Philipsburg, MT, at the intersection of State Rt. 1 and Broadway, take State Rt. 1 south for 11.1 miles to campground sign. Turn left at sign into campground.

Summer offers the warmest, most reliable weather (daytime highs commonly 60–80°F, nights 35–50°F at 6,000 ft) and full access to Lodgepole's lakeside recreation — boating, swimming, and consistently good trout fishing on Georgetown Lake. Trails into the Pintlers and Flint Creek Range are snow-free, wildflower meadows are at their peak, and campground services are fully available from late May through mid-September. Expect busier weekends and holiday weeks, so reserve sites for July–August or aim Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: December, January, February
