Go if

History-curious families and couples who'll walk over to Arrow Rock village and J. Huston Tavern make the most of this place. Shaded sites, clean showers, and a helpful host round out a low-key overnight that punches above its size.

Skip if

Full-hookup RVers will be disappointed: nearly every site is electric-only, the water and dump station close in the off-season, and the narrow access road gets uncomfortable for rigs on the longer end. Bring leveling blocks regardless.
