Go if

Fall tent campers who want active elk rut and peak aspen color mid-September through early October will hit this place at its best. Micro-fishing brook trout in the creek and morning wildlife watching are the main draws. Sites are well-maintained and consistently clean per review

Skip if

The access road is rough enough that reviewers specifically flag it as unsuitable for any RV. Sites cluster close together with little privacy between them, and uneven ground makes fitting a larger tent frustrating. No showers or electric hookups either.
