No potable water, no fire rings, and ATV noise has shown up in reviews. RVs will find the dirt road tight and hookups nonexistent. If a campfire at the end of the day is non-negotiable, this setup will disappoint.

Summer brings the most reliable access and the best fishing, with daytime highs between 65 and 85°F and nights dropping into the low 40s to 50s. Late June through August offers peak creek flow and active wildlife, though afternoon thunderstorms can roll through in July and August. The campground opens in May when frost still lingers at dawn, creating big temperature swings between morning and afternoon.
