Summer offers warm, dry weather and the best access to riverside sites — expect daytime highs typically in the mid-60s to mid-80s F (18–30°C) with cool nights in the 40s–50s F (4–12°C). This is peak season for swimming in river pools, wading, angling the Chewuch, and hiking nearby trails; water is approachable and trailheads are usually snow-free.
