Best season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable warm, dry weather and full access to trails and creek-side camping — expect daytime highs roughly mid-60s to mid-80s°F (18–30°C) with cool nights in the 40s–50s°F (4–12°C). Hiking is at its peak, creekside lounging and swimming in shallow pools become pleasant, and the three-site, first-come/first-served campground is usable without snow or muddy access. Expect modest crowds on weekend afternoons—arrive early to secure one of the intimate sites—and be aware of mid Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: December, January, February
