Best season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable weather and the fullest access to trails and river features — expect warm, mostly dry days in the 60–80°F range and cool nights in the 40s–50s. This is when Silver Falls, Grove of the Patriarchs, and river-side swimming/hiking are at their peak and sub-alpine meadows are easiest to reach without lingering snow. Expect the highest crowds mid-July through August, so book early or choose weekdays or September for quieter conditions (note: the campground is closed for Peak months: July, August, September, October Avoid: November, December, January, February
