Best season: summer. Summer provides the most reliable weather and full access to Silver Springs (daytime highs typically 60–80°F, nights 40–50°F), making it ideal for hiking, fishing, and using the White River access safely. Trails to Mt. Rainier’s North Arch are dry and most trailheads and services are open during the reservable season (June 24–Sept 13), though weekends in July–August draw the largest crowds. Note late-summer wildfire smoke or campfire restrictions can occasionally affect air quality and views. Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: October, November, December, January
