Driving directionsFrom Vernal, travel 20 miles north on US 191, then go 4.5 miles northwest on Forest Road 018 before heading 7 miles north on Forest Road 020. Alternatively, from Vernal at the intersection of US Hwy 191 (Vernal Ave) and US 40 (Main St.), take US Rt. 191 north 19.3 miles to Forest Rt. 18 signs. Turn left onto Rt. 18 and go 3.2 miles to an intersection, then continue straight onto Rt. 20 for 5.1 miles to the East Park Campground sign. Turn right onto the gravel road and go 0.7 miles to the campground.
Road access is primarily through paved Forest Service roads until the last 0.7 miles, which is gravel. Seasonal accessibility is limited due to snow and weather-related conditions.
