Go if

Groups or families who want a real cabin (clean, spacious, heated in winter) near a 1,450-acre lake. Cabin 4 handles bigger parties, Cabin 3 puts you closest to the trails and water. Fall and spring are the sweet spot for comfortable temps without summer crowds.

Skip if

Hot-weather campers who can't BYO fan and mattress topper will be uncomfortable. No AC is a genuine problem in July heat, mattresses draw consistent complaints, bedding isn't provided, and the pool has had staffing-related closures. No tent or RV sites exist.
