Summer delivers the best conditions. Daytime highs run mid-60s to mid-80s°F, nights drop to the 30s and 40s. The lake warms enough for swimming. Long daylight supports extended paddling, fishing, and evening fires under clear skies. Moderate crowds on weekends, but peaceful compared to larger nearby lakes. Winter blankets the area in snow with freezing temps and short days. The lake transforms into a quiet frozen landscape for those prepared for serious cold-weather camping.
