No potable water on-site means hauling everything in from Enterprise. RVs aren't accommodated, fall conditions rate poorly, and cell coverage is essentially unknown out here, so plan for a real communication blackout.

Summer brings the most reliable access and comfortable conditions. From mid-June through August, daytime temperatures typically reach the mid-60s to mid-70s, with nights dropping into the 30s and 50s. The eight sites fill on summer weekends but stay quiet during the week. Snow and muddy roads are less likely during these months, and bug pressure stays manageable. Access becomes difficult outside the summer window.
Open starting in June; summer has reliable access and comfortable temps.
