Driving directionsFrom Roseburg, OR, travel east on OR-138 / Diamond Lake Boulevard for approximately 70 miles, turn right at the sign for the Clearwater Falls Campground. Follow the short entry road and bear left, the campground will be to the left. For access into the four upper sites, continue to travel east on OR-138 to Forest Road 4785 and turn right, then make an immediate right and drive approximately 1.5 miles to the campground located on the right.
The campground is accessible from a paved highway (OR-138), with a short entry road leading to the campground. Additional access to upper sites requires a turn-off to Forest Road 4785 and approximately 1.5 miles of travel on what appears to be smaller forest roads.

The thundering Clearwater Falls divides this hidden gem into two distinct camping areas, with one section perched dramatically above the cascading waters. As a true back-to-nature experience, the campground embraces a pack-it-in, pack-it-out philosophy with no running water or garbage services, allowing visitors to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in the untouched beauty of the forest.
Clearwater Falls Campground caters to tent and small trailer camping. The nine campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for $10 per night.
