The Corps' Clendening Lake has been retained in a natural setting with no commercial development except the marina. Recreation facilities are operated by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District. Approximately 10 miles southeast of Uhrichsville, Ohio. At Uhrichsville, take State Route 800 south to 1/4 mile east of Tippecanoe, Ohio. Turn onto County Road 69, approximately 1/2 mile down the road is the entrance to Clendening Dam.

Spring through fall brings full services and the park at its liveliest, with warm days perfect for trail riding and lake activities. Winter camping offers a quieter, more intimate experience with reduced rates and electric-only hookups on full-service sites, as snow may dust the trails and the landscape takes on a peaceful, stripped-down beauty. Services typically scale back from November through March, so plan accordingly if you're visiting during the colder months.
