Go if

Anglers, paddlers, and families who want beach access at zero cost will do well here. Grab an outer lakeside site for water views and a short walk to the shoreline. Fall foliage weekends are worth the early arrival.

Skip if

Larger RVs will run into trouble: sites 93 and 94 are flagged by reviewers as misleadingly listed pull-throughs, and narrow pads with crumbling pavement make tight rigs a gamble. Vault toilets only, no flush facilities, no potable water on-site.
